Jason Barnes

Jason’s interest in movement and injuries began with previous sports injuries and recognizing the impact changes in technique can have. This sparked an interest in how to best manage and recover from injuries. Jason’s clinical focus is musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. Jason is an eager learner and driven to apply a patient-centered evidence-based physiotherapy approach to help people reach their goals.

Additionally, Jason is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) demonstrating advanced knowledge of exercise prescription for individuals living with long term health conditions or functional limitations. When not in clinic, Jason can be found at the squash court.

Jason graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology Honors (Co-Operative) degree in 2020. He then went on to pursue a Master of Science Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, graduating in 2022.
