Biography

Deanna joined the InMotion Team in 2011. Deanna combines advanced post-graduate
courses with a compassionate, client-centered approach. She prioritizes therapeutic
exercise, manual therapy, and client education, ensuring clients understand their
treatment plan and are active participants in their recovery.

Deanna’s practice is focused on guiding clients through recovery from injuries and
surgery, such as ACL repairs and total knee replacements. As a mother of three active
children, Deanna can usually be found at the hockey rink, basketball court, or soccer
field. She has an interest in sport-related injuries. She is also interested in pelvic health
and has completed further physiotherapy training in pregnancy and pelvic health.

She has completed numerous courses to date including:

Education

With a passion for health, movement, and helping others, Deanna is dedicated to
optimizing your function. Deanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Kinesiology
from Memorial University and a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of
Alberta.
