Melissa completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University in 2014. She brings many years of experience in private practice, with a focus on vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work planning, as well as comprehensive functional assessments. Her clinical experience also includes home assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and cognitive assessment and treatment.
Melissa understands that returning to work and resuming daily life after an injury can feel overwhelming. She uses a functional, strengths-based approach and works collaboratively with each client to develop individualized, goal-oriented, and practical plans. Her focus is on promoting safe and sustainable reintegration into work and meaningful daily activities, while supporting long-term recovery and success. Melissa is passionate about empowering clients to rebuild their independence, confidence, and sense of purpose in both work and everyday life.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, practicing yoga, and staying active outdoors.
